We Offer Several Types of Dentures to Give You Back Your Bite

At Neil Hoss, DMD, we don’t give you just a single style of dentures and tell you to be content with them. We believe in giving our patients choices whenever possible. To that end, you can choose from several types of custom-fit dentures:

  • Conventional Full Dentures – These teeth are the gold standard when it comes to modern dentures. They will replace a full arch of missing teeth and remove easily for cleaning and care.
  • Conventional Partial Dentures – Similar to full dentures, partials easily pop out for cleaning. Partials are usually used when a patient has some healthy teeth remaining and needs only part of an arch replaced.
  • Implant-Retained Dentures – For superior comfort and performance, we can anchor your new teeth to a set of dental implants using a system of snaps and balls.
  • Implant-Supported Dentures – These are our most comfortable and best-fitting style of dentures. They are secured to a metal bar that is attached to dental implants.
  • Temporary Dentures – You won’t have to be without your teeth while your final restorations are being made. We can give you a set of temporaries to wear.

If you lose all or nearly all your teeth, dentures might be a good choice for you. We offer dentures in several styles. You can choose conventional dentures in either full or partial arches. For more security, you can also stabilize your dentures using dental implants. These teeth give you superior comfort, and you won’t have to worry about them slipping out of place.

The exact time it takes to make dentures can vary significantly, depending on the style of denture, the materials they’re made from, and other factors. When we order your dentures, we can give you a much better time frame. However, most dentures require one to two weeks to be made professionally in a lab.

Once we’ve examined your teeth and mouth and worked up a treatment plan, we can let you know how much your dentures will cost. Simpler dentures made from less expensive materials will naturally cost less, but they may not last as long. Dentures made from premium materials require a bigger investment up front but tend to hold up better in the long run.

Traditional dentures that stay in place with dental adhesives will fit snugly and comfortably on top of your gums. Over time, however, they will need to be adjusted to maintain stability. To avoid this, we’re able to secure your dentures to dental implants. You won’t have to worry about your replacement teeth slipping or falling out when you eat or speak.
